I’m a personal finance coach and Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI) who navigates professional women in the spirited pursuit of using their personal finances to create financial freedom and a fuller life. My goal is to arm more women with the tools to improve their financial bottom line and face their finances.
In the spirited pursuit of creating my own financial freedom, I have paid off $100K in student loan debt, built a 5-figure emergency savings account in addition to creating a fund I like to call my f*ck it fund which allowed me to take a 4-month unpaid sabbatical to travel to Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Portugal and Spain in the summer of 2018.
I am also the eldest of 10 children (yes, you read that right TEN) and spent most of my childhood living in homeless shelters and on public assistance. At the age of 14, I started grocery shopping and managing household expenses for my family. I learned early on the power of budgeting and managing personal finances. Those early lessons have stuck with me and continue to drive me to this day.
